As VP, Product Management, Blair oversees the positioning of the Counsel Portfolios, the underlying component funds and other managed investment solutions. Among Blair’s responsibilities is working with the Counsel Portfolio Management team as well as the investment specialists to ensure the product line-up provides a full range of investment solutions and that Counsel’s sales teams, IPC advisors and our investors understand what is happening in their investments. Blair works closely with the Chief Investment Officer in conducting regular due diligence reviews of Counsel’s investment specialists. He is a member of various strategic committees, including Counsel’s Product Committee which is responsible for introducing changes to Counsel investment solutions.


Blair joined Counsel in June 2017. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, holding positions with increasing responsibility in product marketing, product management and product development at some of Canada’s largest fund companies, contributing to overall growth and helping to develop several innovative and industry-leading investment solutions.
