Mike grew up in Kelowna where his family opened Lakeside Pharmacy in 1971. After completing high school at Mount Boucherie Mike went to Ottawa for university where he attended and graduated from Carleton University in 1988. While attending university, Mike met his wife Lynn.

After finishing university Mike entered the financial services industry in 1988, in Ottawa. While Ottawa is a beautiful city, after growing up in Kelowna, winter seemed a little excessive in the nation’s capital. Therefore relocation back to Kelowna was in order, so in 1990 Mike and Lynn moved to Kelowna. Mike continued to grow his practice and raise his family with Lynn in Kelowna. First he was blessed with a daughter named Samantha and soon after a son named Cameron.

Mike has continued to work on educating himself. He completed his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) in 1998 and in 2000 received his CFP® designation (Certified Financial Planner®). Beyond this Mike usually spends 40 to 60 hours per year in seminars and continuing to update his financial planning knowledge.

Today Mike’s focus for his business is in comprehensive financial planning with wealth management, retirement and estate planning being his specialties.
